1951 Vincent Comet 500
Vincent's were a superbly engineered motorcycle built in the tradition of the Brough Superior. The Comet boasts all the design features of its bigger brothers but with one cylinder less, it is half the price which means it has to be one of the best value-for-money classics available. Design features include all aluminium engine, steel flywheels, high camshaft, cantilever rear suspension, girdraulic forks and double-sided front brake. For a number of years this particular bike was on display at the Hamilton Island Motorcycle Museum and so is a very low mileage example. Fundamentally correct and recently fettled, this bike is a true English thoroughbred. Engine
