1962 BSA DBD34 Gold Star
500
No British bike has a much panache as the much loved Gold Star. A success in trials, scrambles and road racing, no other bike from any manufacturer has proved as adaptable as the Gold Star. Indeed such was its dominance in the Isle of Man's clubman's event that the race was dropped. This particular example boats all the genuine factory Goldie fruit including 1 1/2" GP carb, big chromed tank and racing guards, RRT2 close ratio gearbox (good for 70mph is 1st gear) and 190mm front hub. Restored with no expense spared, this example is as near to concours perfection as there is. Only deviation from original is a new frame fitted in the 60s (no frame number). Engine
