Superbly restored example of the post war Red Hunter. Simple and robust and renown for its handling, the Ariel proved ultra reliable, a pleasure to ride and distinctive styling made it a cut above its more conservative competitors. This particular machine has the rare aluminium barrel usually only fitted to the competition machines. This is the 1954 model, the first year of the swing arm frames and the only year with the distinctive Ariel fuel tank flashes. Possibly the most original example to be found anywhere. A very original example of this increasingly rare model.
