1949 KTT Mark 8
1949 Mk8 KTT. Originally sent to Tasmania where it remained until 1990. It has no known race history outside of Tasmania. Road racing in Tasmania was never on the scale as it was on Australia’s mainland; hence the bike has had very little use through its life. Very original and correct including matching engine, frame and gearbox numbers. Meticulously restored to concours condition about 6 years ago including total engine rebuild by noted Victorian KTT expert and engine builder Bob McLennon. Has travelled less than 400 miles mainly on tune-up days and parades at Classic bike meetings. Attention to detail is superb and is truly a show winning museum piece. Totally original and must be one of the finest examples of this rare and prestigious racing motorcycle. Engine no 1015
