Arthur Wheeler's KTT with excellent provenance. Bought new from the factory by Arthur in 1949, this machine boasts several Works items fitted by the factory before delivery to Arthur. These include long range Isle of Man fuel tank, extra oil scavenge pump, alloy rear brake pedal and handlebar clamps, Works-type steering damper and larger Works racing Carby. Comes with original buff logbook authenticating Arthur’s ownership (can supply photo close-ups).

Not long after purchase, Arthur crashed the bike and it was returned to the Works and a new frame fitted (SF 250), this is detailed in the logbook and signed with Arthur’s initials. In the late 90s Arthur exchanged his KTT for a Guzzi albatross with Australian Bruce Pederick. Bruce raced it for 3 seasons in Classic events here where innumerable wearing components were updated. In ready-to-race trim, this is a rare and exciting authentic racing machines owned and raced by a genuine star of the European Grand Prix circuit.
