Arguably the most quintessentially British of all the big singles and still being sold 10 years after the demise of the Gold Star. The sophisticated engine design includes high camshaft for reduced valve train weight, helical timing gears for reduced noise, hairpin valve springs, tapered main bearings, steel flywheels and narrow crankcase for extreme rigidity. The Clubmans differed with rear sets fitted as standard and could be ordered with long tank, close ratio gearbox, TT carb and rev counter. This 1962 example has the more s desirable long tank and is is superb mechanical condition. Finish is exceptional.
